US denies IRGC's claim of striking airbase in Saudi Arabia

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps struck the Prince Sultan Air Base in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia, accommodating 200 personnel at the time on March 28, according to Iranian news agencies. Brigadier General Majid Mousavi posted on his X account on Tuesday, saying the attack successfully hit the US aircrew gathering. “Today, we attacked the accommodation of US pilots and aircrew in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia, using drones and missiles, hitting a gathering of 200 individuals,” he said. “Now, in addition to the strikes on AWACS, tankers, and fuel depots, there is also a list of casualties and damages among the aircrew in the list of Trump and Hegseth’s losses and damages,” he said. US, Philippines kick off joint military drills in South China Sea with 16,000 troops

Some 16,000 US and Philippine troops kicked off the annual joint military drills on Monday in the West Philippine Sea (WPS), local media reported. WPS is the official designation by Philippines to the parts of the South China Sea that are included in the country's exclusive economic zone. The 19-day exercises, dubbed "Balikatan 2024," will involve around 5,000 Philippine and 11,000 US troops, making it the largest joint military drills between the two allies conducted in decades, local English daily Manila Times reported citing the military.
